Every year, having discovered the news that their child has been diagnosed with cancer, families enter either the Piam Brown Ward for 0-16yr olds, or the TYA Teenage and Young Adults Ward 16-24yrs at UHS University Hospital Southampton.

The whole ethos of Abby's Heroes is to place an arm around the shoulders of these families and support them during this journey. Abby's Heroes offer Financial Grants to help with the financial burden of having a child diagnosed, Practical support, Memory Making grants, Welfare Packs, Counselling service for the entire family, as well as two evening meals and a picnic lunch every week.

Every single penny is vital to help Abby's Heroes provide these services and as a team we are taking part in the Firewalk to raise awareness and all important funds for this incredible, local charity.
