Story
On Friday 4th April, pupils at Bishop Martin will be taking part in a special LDST Fundraising Day. As in previous years, Bishop Martin will be raising money for New Hope School and Orphanage in Kampala, Uganda.
New Hope school is a non-profit making charity established in 2005 with the purpose of transforming the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in Uganda. The aim is to provide a safe and caring environment, where they will be nurtured, educated, helped to achieve their potential in life and so equipped to build a better future for themselves.
This year, our School Council has decided to raise money with a Crazy Hair Day!
• Pupils are encouraged to come into school with their wildest, wackiest, and most creative hairstyles. Think bold colours, funky styles and fun accessories – be as creative as you like!
• There are no limits to how crazy your hair can be – spikes, curls, braids, wigs or even themed designs are all welcome.
• This is a fun opportunity to express creativity while supporting a great cause.
Thank you in advance for your support of LDST’s connected charity. We are proud of our children’s desires to help others, both locally and globally. To find out more about the charity, visit: www.newhopeforafrica.org.uk.
