Bourne and Morton Cycle Club (BMCC) is taking on an incredibly demanding coast-to-coast cycling challenge in memory of Ann Evans, Darren Hill ("Donk") and Dean Mason – three much-loved and well-known members of the Bourne community.

We will also be riding in remembrance of our family members and friends who are no longer with us, and in support of those who are courageously living with illness or facing difficult times. This challenge is our way of honouring cherished memories, celebrating the lives of those we've lost, and showing our support for everyone facing life's greatest challenges.

Our journey will begin in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, on the west coast. From there, we will tackle the steep and demanding climbs of the Lake District before riding towards Barnard Castle in County Durham. We will then continue across the challenging Yorkshire Moors, before completing our coast-to-coast ride in Whitby on the east coast.

This will be a true test of strength, endurance and determination. Every climb conquered and every mile completed will be ridden with purpose. The memories of those we have lost, together with the courage shown by those continuing to battle illness, will inspire us throughout every stage of the journey.

We are proud to be raising money for St Barnabas Hospice Trust (Lincolnshire), whose compassionate care and support make an incredible difference to patients and their families during some of life's most difficult moments. Every pound raised will help St Barnabas continue providing outstanding end-of-life care, emotional support and comfort to people across Lincolnshire when they need it most.

Every donation, no matter how large or small, will make a genuine difference. Your generosity will not only help support the incredible work of St Barnabas Hospice but will also give us the motivation to keep pedalling when the climbs become steeper and the miles become harder.
