Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.

Story

For the 9th year, we're back again. This year, it's personal.

In October 2024, we sadly lost Kevin Sugars, Our captain, Ryan, dearly beloved grandad.

Kevin was a exceptional man, who went above and beyond for anyone, and was deeply respected by all. His ability to achieve anything he set out to do was astounding, and his never say never attitude was inspiring.

Kevin's loss was truly heartbreaking, as his illness was quick and devastating leaving all family and friends at a standstill.

This year we honour Kevin's life, and put on a huge event to raise as much awareness as possible, because cancer really can hit anyone at any moment.

We promise this year to be the most successful yet but we can't do it without all of your support so please give generously if you can, and if not pop down to the event and cheer us all on, it means so much not only to us, but to all the players as well,

We can't wait to play again, and hope to see you all down there.
