We are running the London Royal Parks Half Marathon on 12th October 2025 in memory of Bob's brother, George, and to raise money for The Compassionate Friends.

We, as well as Bob’s Mum and Dad, are also running the annual Rainford 10K on 5th October 2025 to raise money for TCF. The trophy for this run is named after George and the event raises money for a number of different charities.

The Compassionate Friends is a charity run by over 250 volunteers, all bereaved parents or siblings themselves, offering that vital support after the loss of a child at any age through whatever cause. It has been a huge support to Bob's family, especially his Mum, since we lost George in October 2008, aged 17.

We are running in George's memory, aiming to raise funds and awareness for a group that provides support to families navigating their way through grief of losing a child or sibling.
