I'm doing 10,000 press-ups in July to try and raise £5k for Martin House Children's Hospice who support children and young people with life-limiting conditions. The last time i was there I came away in tears, as it's both a heart warming and heart breaking place to visit and desperately needs every contribution they can get.

At 55 and having lost my workout Mo-jo, I'm possibly at the lowest fitness point in my life and felt pretty down about it. Hence the challenge and I now hope to take some inspiration from committing to this. My current push up max is about 20 so lots of mini efforts and already a shed load behind as I'm only starting today!
