The Dales way · 18 August 2025

This fund will support children who are lacking the things they need to access the full life of school. We will remove barriers, promote equality, and champion inclusivity. Funds will be made through the fund to LAAT School Leaders so that they may meet identified needs of individual pupils.

Story

Hi all,

This summer I have decided to test myself (as none of us are getting any younger), by walking and wild camping the Yorkshire "Dales Way". Which is 80 miles from Ilkley in Yorkshire to the shore of lake Windermere at Bowness in Cumbria. I am hoping to achieve this in 5 days, well that's what my head is saying my body is screaming something entirely different, as my pack already feels far too heavy!

This walk is not only a personnel mission for me but also a great opportunity to raise funds for this deserving charity, who help those children who really need their support, and to make a difference in some small way.

• We aim to transform chances for individual pupils.

• Be fully inclusive to all.

• Allow every child to be all that God intended.

This fund aims to support school children who are lacking the things they need to access the full life of school and the curriculum. It is set up by LAAT, funds raised by LAAT communities, to support any child within the family who needs it. We aim to remove barriers, promote equality, and champion inclusivity.

Funds will be made through the fund to School Leaders so that they may meet identified
