Help fundraise for MSF (Médecins sans Frontières/ Doctors without Borders). We are a student group based at the University of Birmingham raising money for this incredible charity.

Story

In October this year I will attempt to run the Jersey Marathon in full medieval armour, I am doing it to raise money for MSF (Médecins sans Frontières/ Doctors without Borders). They are an international, independent medical humanitarian organisation providing medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare. For more information on MSF please visit: https://www.msf.org/

I have been doing medieval combat demonstrations for nearly 20 years adn am no stranger to wearing armour, and I also regularly train with weighted vests, recently I decided to bring the 2 together for a challenge, having completed one of our local half marathons I now have my sights set on the full marathon in October in order to raise money for this fantastic charity. And just maybe set a new world record at the same time.

Please help me to support this fantastic cause and the people who strive to provide medical help where it is needed when it is needed most.

The money raised on this page will be sent to the Birmingham Friends of MSF Guild bank account from where the full amount will then be donated to MSF. This is done in order to comply with charity law.
