The Headlight Project is a Teesside based charity that focuses on suicide prevention and therapy for those who have been affected by bereavement from suicide. I am aiming to raise £1000 and run a sub 1 hour 50 minute half-marathon in Redcar (September 24th) to raise money for such a worthy cause.

Founded in memory of Russ Devereux, the Headlight Project aims to reduce the number of deaths by suicide in the Tees Valley, which has one of the highest regional rates in the country. We aim to achieve this by providing therapy to those bereaved by suicide, and delivering preventative education and training to schools, local businesses and the community.
