So with 4 weeks to go with no training in the bag I decided to take up a place to complete the 2mile Swim Serpentine raising money for the wonderful Whisper Charity who fund Whisper's Magical Children's Hospital and Maternity in Jinja, Uganda. There's a children's hospital, a maternity unit, a free ambulance service and a nursing school, all running on an annual donation budget of around £250K.

So I’ve started to get myself more acquainted with the lido and am trying to find goggles that don’t leak! Any donations and open water swimming tips would be much appreciated!
