On October 5th, Team Branniff will proudly take part in the Great Scottish 10K to raise vital funds for Callum.

This cause is deeply personal to us, as Callum is the cherished nephew of Joanne and Francis Branniff, and a much-loved part of the family.

Callum, 4, longs to walk, talk, and play like other children. He needs £75k for vital therapy and specialist equipment to continue his journey toward the childhood he deserves.

Story

At just four years old, Callum from Banbridge, Northern Ireland, is teaching us all what true bravery is. From the moment he was born, Callum has faced a mountain of challenges that most of us could scarcely imagine—including an average of 180 seizures a day. Diagnosed with a rare genetic mutation called TUBA1A, Callum lives with muscle tone issues, which make it difficult for him to stand or walk. He also faces significant developmental delays and a rare brain abnormality that affects his epilepsy, balance, mobility, muscle control, and speech.

But beyond these clinical diagnoses, Callum is the most sociable little boy who adores people and whose smile lights up every room he enters. Callum’s determination shines brighter than any obstacle he faces. His laughter is contagious, and his spirit is nothing short of extraordinary.

To reach his full potential, Callum urgently needs access to specialised therapies and equipment—private Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Speech and Language Therapy—that aren't available through NHS care alone.
