A couple of months ago I made one of those spontaneous decisions (as you do on a Sunday afternoon) to climb Mount Kili!

For those who know me know that I don’t hang around. If I’ve said it, consider it done and there’s definitely no going back!

A few days after I’d signed up I found out that the group I was actually going with were some of my LinkedIn friends who were fundraising for a charity called Hope 4.

Hope4 fight poverty and human trafficking, as well as supporting tens of thousands of refugees, and those impacted by natural disaster across Europe from their base in the UK and Moldova, Europe's poorest country

Sadly, towards the end of 2023 I received the tragic and shocking news that my friend and former colleague had passed away suddenly. This really hit home and was a reminder about how fragile life really is.

Harj was one of the most loyal, genuine and caring people I knew, who would do anything to help others.Even on her passing, her organs were donated and she saved 6 lives.

I know this trip is going to be one of my biggest challenges but it will be worth it for such a great cause and in memory of a true legend and beautiful soul - Harj Atwal, forever in our hearts ❤️
