Pilgrimage 2025 · 23 May 2025 to 26 May 2025 ·

The 35th 74-mile Annual Pilgrimage organised by The Connection at St. Martins, walking from St. Martins in London to Canterbury Cathedral is on. The walk will be taken place in late May Bank Holiday Weekend (Friday 23rd May - Monday 26th May 2025).

Story

We are walking for 4 days from London to Canterbury from 23rd to 26th May 2025 for The Connection at St Martin-in-the-fields, to make a difference for the lives of rough sleeping people in London.

The Connection is a London homeless charity where I worked as an art tutor in my mid ‘20’s when it was called the Homeless Care Unit. I also took part in one of the first pilgrimages at that time, around 35 years ago. Both were profound and formative experiences. Jack, now in his mid ‘20’s, works close to Charing Cross and is also acutely conscious of the homelessness situation in London. As mother and son, we have decided to undertake this walk together to raise money for this vital charity.

£5 provides someone with a hot shower, a meal, and clean clothes.

£20 offers a mental health session for someone in need.

£40 gives someone a safe night in a hotel.

Please support us by donating. All funds raised go directly to the charity.

Thank you so much!
