Story
On Saturday the 21st of February 2026, we lost my brother Brian Kellas to cancer, at the age of 56.
Anyone who knew Brian will remember his wicked sense of humour and the positive attitude that he carried with him despite the immense pain he endured throughout his entire life. I’m running my first marathon in his memory - because if he can suffer years of pain and still be positive, I can run 26.2 miles.
I'll be running the Loch Ness Marathon on Sunday 27th September 2026, raising funds for Friends of Roxburghe House, a charity that is very close to our family and to many others facing cancer.
Roxburghe House is a specialist hospice in Aberdeen providing end-of-life care, including pain management and emotional support for patients and their families.
The team there made a real difference to us during an incredibly difficult time. Any support is hugely appreciated.
