In April 2027, I will be taking on the challenge of running the 10th anniversary edition of the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause, in the hope that one day, there will be a cure for Type 1 diabetes.

In 2021, our world changed forever when our beautiful daughter, Maisie, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at just 7 years old. Overnight, her childhood became a little more complicated — filled with finger pricks, insulin injections, and constant monitoring.

Despite it all, Maisie has shown incredible courage. She still has fun and dreams big, but behind the scenes, every day is a balancing act to keep her safe and healthy.

We’re praying there will be a day where she can live worry free and totally free of the burden of her diabetes 🤞🏼
