Welcome to the official fundraising page for Team: Borat the Fiat!
We are a couple on a completely ridiculous mission. In summer 2026, we are taking part in the legendary Mongol Rally—an unassisted, chaotic automotive adventure organized by The Adventurists. We are driving thousands of miles from the heart of Europe all the way to the rugged border of Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
There are no backup crews, no set routes, and absolutely no guarantees we will make it.

The Machine: A 1982 Fiat 125p
Why choose a reliable modern SUV when you can drive a 44-year-old box of Polish steel? We are intentionally driving a 1982 Fiat 125p. It is old, it is loud, and it is scientifically proven to be highly prone to breaking down in the middle of nowhere. We will be fixing it ourselves on the side of dirt roads using nothing but zip ties, duct tape, and sheer optimism.
If Borat Sagdiyev were a real person, this is exactly the kind of premier engineering he would choose for a cross-continental voyage.
The Heart: Honoring a Polish Rally Legend
Behind the humor, this car carries immense sentimental value for us. The Fiat 125p was the pride of Soviet-era Polish rallying. We are driving this specific car to honor the memory of our very close friend who recently passed away: Robert Mucha.
Robert was a true motorsport pioneer and the legendary Polish driver who conquered the brutal conditions of the 1972 Monte Carlo Rally, winning his class in a Polski Fiat 125p. We are taking his unstoppable spirit across the steppes of Central Asia. If our car breaks down fifty times, we’ll just channel our inner Robert, fix it, and keep pushing forward. Like he always tolled Kuba:

The Cause: Keeping the Planet "Very Nice!"
The Mongol Rally isn’t just about getting incredibly lost and covered in engine oil; it’s about making a real impact. We are fundraising for Cool Earth, an incredible charity that works directly with rainforest communities to halt deforestation, protect global ecosystems, and combat climate change.
The Earth is a beautiful place. To quote the great philosopher himself:
