Team: Team fundraising for Medical Aid for Palestine

A run from Blackrock to Raheny Dart station. A run in both directions representing the boundary between Israel and Gaza. · 30 August 2025

Medical Aid for Palestinians are responding to the escalating violence in Gaza. We are working to ensure hospitals and emergency responders have the supplies they need to cope with an unprecedented influx of casualties. We need your help!

Story

Gaza has been blockaded for 16 years, has been described by many as the biggest open air prison in the world as well as being one of the most densely populated areas.

The people of Gaza are facing the worst situation in its history with daily bombardment an a complete siege. We need your help to raise critical funds to help save lives in Gaza.

Zero Stock medicines, Gaza:

€120 could help pay for 8 paediatric disposable breathing circuit wires, for children in intensive care

€100 could buy 1 paediatric respiratory cannula for ventilation, which could save a child's life

€60 could pay for 6 Intravenous drip bags for patients in cardiac arrest

€30 could help buy 15 blood line inlets for lifesaving blood transfusions

€15 could pay for 2,000mg of lifesaving antibiotics

We are a group of parents from Monkstown and are organising this run to raise vital funds and raise awareness for Gaza. We are unable to watch as this horrific humanitarian disaster due to constant bombardment and forced starvation of children and families continues.

You're welcome to join us in walking or running any amount of distance between Blackrock and Raheny on Saturday 31st August, starting at 10am. All support is greatly appreciated.
