Story
On 16 July, I’ll be abseiling down the iconic 80 Strand—now my new office—to raise money for the Terrence Higgins Trust.
The Trust does outstanding work supporting people living with HIV, improving access to treatment, reducing stigma, and driving better outcomes. This cause is particularly close to home for me, as my older brother Alexander lives with the condition.
I’ll admit this seemed like a better idea before I remembered I’m not especially good with heights—but all the more reason to take it on.
It may not be a marathon or a Channel swim, but if you’re able to donate, I would be hugely grateful. Every contribution, however small, makes a real difference.
And, given my name is Boris, there’s every chance this could resemble a variation of the Boris Johnson zip-wire moment. Spectators are very welcome—I’d love you to come along, support the effort, and celebrate (or enjoy the spectacle). Drinks are on me if I make it down in one piece.
