**Big Congratulations to all those who took part on Sunday! The sky was blue with some clouds and smiles aplenty! I'm pretty sure that most people here did the full walk (to the Peace Statue and back!). I had my grandkids with me so our workout was a ride on the Volks Railway and a walk to the end of the pier and back! And more importantly, big big heartfelt thanks to all those who sponsored us and i've raised the target now to £4500 for which will be our new collective record!!! Bounceback members and their family / friends are taking steps for better heart health in Sussex. We have teamed up to collectively raise money for Sussex Heart Charity!

We are walking from the Marina to the Angel of Peace Statue and back which is around 5 miles (so 10,000 steps approx!) Some might do a shorter route (ie to Pier) or take a cheeky diversion to an ice cream shop but all in great camaraderie! We can look forward to a rewarding coffee and cake at the Sussex Heart Charity marquee at the Brighton Marina.

Every step we take is for the Sussex Heart Charity!

The Sussex Heart Charity have supported all levels of care for cardiac patients in Sussex since 1987. Signposting cardiac patients (and their families) and working with hospitals on improving patient's rehabilitation journey. They promote awareness across Sussex and funding various projects eg lifesaving Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and resuscitation training. This year, some of the funds will go towards their successful Rescue Remedy initiative and looking at ways to ensure the Sussex deaf community learn life saving skills.
