Story
O'r 15fed tan y 17eg o Awst, bydd tîm ymroddedig o redwyr, marchogion, beicwyr, a rhwyfwyr yn cychwyn ar daith eithriadol: i Guro'r Ffiniau i Ocsigen.
From August 15th-17th, a dedicated team of runners, riders, cyclists, and paddlers are embarking on an extraordinary journey: to Beat the Bounds for Oxygen.
Following an ancient tradition, our participants will trace the historic county boundary of Ceredigion in a unique 3-day, non-competitive relay. The route will take them along our stunning coastline by longboat, north by bicycle, through the rugged Cambrian Mountains on horseback, and back down the beautiful River Teifi valley by kayak and on foot, culminating in a grand finale procession into Cardigan led by a magnificent Shire Horse.
Why are we taking on this epic challenge?
We are doing it for the Cardigan Oxygen Therapy Centre – a small but vital local charity that provides a lifeline to our friends, family, and neighbours. The Centre offers essential hyperbaric oxygen therapy and support to people living with a range of challenging conditions, including MS, cancer, fibromyalgia, and long Covid.
The Centre relies entirely on community donations and volunteers to keep its doors open. It costs £35,000 a year just to run, and without our help, this vital resource could be lost.
Every pound you donate will help keep this lifeline going. It will support the running of the chamber, provide a welcoming space for users, and ensure that people in our community have hope and practical help when they need it most.
Cefnogwch ein taith os gwelwch yn dda, wrth gyfrannu'r hyn a allwch. Diolch yn fawr.
Please support our journey and donate what you can. Thank you.
