Hiya everyone! As per the Glasgow Charity Fashion Show (GCFS), we are wonderfully tasked with fundraising for this years charity, Young Lives VS Cancer, i’ll be starting on the 5th of December. As of December my mum was diagnosed with blood cancer and so I dedicate this run not just to the GCFS but to her. x

In the UK alone, around 4K children and young people have been battling ruthlessly with cancer, 1,9K of those being between zero (0) to fourteen (14) years of age, and nearly 20M people globally were diagnosed with cancer just in 2022 alone.

Cancer is a ruthless and disastrous thing which aims to plague the lives of all those diagnosed with it and to those close with the victim, this run aims to aid in the battle against cancer. Cancer is all too common, and should the worst case ever occur it is best to involve oneself in the battle against it for the greater good of the future and young lives.

Young Lives vs Cancer helps families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer.

Together we can combat the beast of cancer, but we can't do it without you.
