Boyd campsite and Activity centre is Biggleswade District Scouts HQ and campsite that we run for our 16 groups within the District and for all other Scout and youth groups in the local areas and further afield.

Places like this are incredibly important for young people in Scouting. They provide a safe outdoor environment where Scouts can learn practical skills, build confidence, make friends, and develop a real appreciation for nature.

Over the years these facilities have supported countless activities—from camping and hiking to team-building challenges and leadership training. However, many of the buildings now need renovation, and new facilities are needed so future generations can continue to enjoy everything the site has to offer.

Improving the buildings and creating new spaces will make the centre more accessible, safer, and better equipped for modern Scouting activities. It will allow more groups to visit, run more programmes, and ensure the site remains a vibrant hub for adventure and learning.
