Story
Hey all!
Just when I allow my body to recover from one challenge, I have decided to embark on the next in aid of The Footprints Foundation. The Footprints Foundation have developed communities all over the world, helping transform the lives of all disadvantaged people, one step at a time. The Foundation aims to tackle the problems and issues facing vulnerable young and elderly people, and those with significant health issues. For more information about Footprints and the support it provides, more details can be found on their website - https://www.thefootprintsfoundation.co.uk/about. Please do spare a minute of your time to see how every donation can help shape someone’s life.
The money I raise during these challenges will allow me to visit South Africa and work hands on with the charity to transform the lives of those affected within that area. We will be assisting with the build of schools, running food stations and helping educate children.
To raise these funds, I will be enduring multiple challenges and pushing my body to its limit, as follows:
• On the 31st March I will be running a 10k (after running 350 miles over the last three months this is all my legs can take!)
• On 15th-16th June I will be cycling 134 miles over a two-day period across the Pennine Mountains.
• On the 8th June I will be undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge. This challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours.
• Finally, on the 2nd September I will be undertaking a half marathon. I am hoping by this time my legs would have recovered.
Thank you for your ongoing support, every donation is greatly appreciated.
Ellee 😊
