As part of the team at Broughton Plant Hire, we'll be taking on the Brentwood Half Marathon in support of Little Havens Hospice.

While we aren’t running in memory of anyone in particular, we are running for every family who may one day need the incredible support Little Havens provides. They are a local charity doing truly life-changing work for children with complex or incurable conditions and for the families who love and care for them.

Knowing that most of the babies, children and young people they support have limited time makes their mission, helping families “make every day count”, even more powerful.

Training for 13.1 miles will be tough, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges these families face every day. If our miles can help raise funds to ensure Little Havens can continue providing specialist care, comfort and support when it’s needed most, then every step will be worth it.

Any donation, big or small, would mean so much, and will go directly towards helping local families through some of the toughest times imaginable.
