In 2022 my grandad sadly died from a huge heart attack which absolutely destroyed our family. He had been under the British Heart Foundation for a number of years for various treatments and activities to help try to strengthen his heart as he had previously had a small heart attack. I’ve always wanted to raise money for BHF to thank them for everything they did for my grandad and saw this Half Marathon as the perfect opportunity to do so. It’s going to be an absolute privilege and honour to run in memory of my grandad as I know he would have been very proud of me doing this and most definitely would have been there cheering me on if he was here. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as I complete the hardest challenge I’ve done in my life. Dig deep people you don’t know what’s round the corner and BHF do incredible work to save people’s lives.
