Cavendish Cancer Care support local families affected by cancer from the North Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire region.

Personally, I received grievance counselling following the passing of my dad from Pancreatic cancer in 2016. Trying to make sense of my own emotions was a huge challenge, and Cavendish really helped to pave a path forward for me to do his memory proud.

Funds raised from the Chesterfield 10k will help to provide more of these sessions to families locally who are affected by cancer.

Cavendish only receive enough statutory funding to keep their doors open for two weeks of each year, so it really is thanks to supporters like you that they can keep providing this support.

Cavendish know that everybody's' cancer journey is as unique as they are, which is why they make sure that each persons package of care matches this.
