Story

Mark Silvester

Passed away suddenly at home on Sunday 4th August 2024 aged 62 years.

Mark was a much loved husband to Jackie, son to Joan, brother to Sandra and brother in law to Pete. Mark will be lovingly remembered by all his family and by his many friends who knew him.

A funeral service to celebrate Mark’s life will be held at the North Devon Crematorium, Rowan Chapel on Friday 30th August 2024 starting at 11.40am.

No flowers please, but donations in memory for Mark can be made for Ilfracombe RNLI or Cancer Research Uk, by retiring collection or c/o Braddicks & Sherborne Funeral Directors, 20 & 21 St Brannocks Road, Ilfracombe, EX34 8EQ (01271) 865222.

Too many people are still drowning. More than ever we need the RNLI’s help. As a charity, the RNLI depends on our donations so it can go on saving lives and keeping us and our loved ones safe.

RNLI lifesavers are our lifeline. They’re the lifeboat crews who provide 24-hour search and rescue right around the UK and Ireland. The lifeguards keeping watch on 240 of the busiest beaches in the UK and Channel Islands. And the RNLI safety teams and educators working tirelessly to stop people getting into trouble in the first place.

Thank you.
