The University of Bradford Students' Union has chosen to support Andy’s Man Club for RAG Week 2026 to help raise awareness of men’s mental health and promote the importance of open conversation and peer support.

University life can be exciting but also challenging, and many students experience pressure relating to academic workload, finances, relationships, and life transitions. Research shows that men are often less likely to seek support when struggling with their mental health, which can lead to isolation and increased risk of crisis.

Andy’s Man Club provides free, peer-to-peer support groups where men can talk openly in a safe, non-judgemental environment. By fundraising for this organisation, we aim to reduce stigma, encourage conversations around mental health, and highlight the support available both locally in Bradford and across the UK.

Through RAG Week activities, we hope to not only raise funds but also remind students that support is available and that no one should feel they have to struggle alone.
