Bradford University Societies Emergency Gaza Appeal

The following societies are supporting this appeal - ISOC, Baking Society, Peace Society & Psychology society.
Over the past week, simmering tensions in the Middle East appear to have tipped into an unprecedented escalation, sparking fears that the situation may deteriorate in the coming hours and days. Islamic Relief strongly condemns all violence and is calling on all parties to exercise restraint to avoid civilian casualties.
Already more than 1300 people have lost their lives. A further 6000 injured and many trapped or missing. Gaza has been besieged and there is no fuel, water or electricity. The last Set of fuel and electricity supplying the hospital is about to run out.
Islamic Relief have been providing humanitarian relief in the Occupied Palestinian Territory since 1997, serving as a lifeline for communities struggling with the devastating effects of occupation, blockade and recurring conflict. As Palestinian families face fresh suffering in Gaza, Islamic Relief is calling on supporters to help us provide much-needed humanitarian aid.
With your support, Islamic Relief will remain a lifeline for Palestinian families. Please give generously.
