Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 11,000 people in the UK, including me. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing.

Cystic fibrosis comes with challenges, affecting our physical health, mental wellbeing and how we choose to live our lives. But our community is uniting towards the ultimate goal of effective treatment for all. I am determined to support those like myself with this life limiting condition to continue to improve outcomes for those with CF.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis.

I am excited to take on this challenge to raise money for the CF Trust’s vital work and as part of my training will be taking part in a number of running events before the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 4th April 2027. I will try to keep this page updated with my training and progress with other events I am partaking in.
