Thames Path 100 mile ultra · 3 May 2025

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am attempting to run 100 miles in 24 hours on Saturday the 3rd of May, in an official race called 'Thames Path 100'. The race starts in Richmond, London and finishes in Oxford.

The fundraiser is in aid of the two Teenage Cancer Trust wards located in the Queens Centre at Castle Hill Hospital in Hull; wards 32 & 33. The wards my late friend Lewis Sewell stayed in whilst receiving treatment. Both wards have shared facilities that accommodate young adults and teenagers, such as a pool table, jukebox, TV with sports channels and many other gaming facilities to keep patients/visitors occupied. I have good memories with Sewell and the lads whilst at Castle Hill, escaping the reality of being in hospital. Raising money for the hospital will help others who are going through what we experienced.

The run will be in loving memory of a friend to many, Lewis Sewell.

Gone but never forgotten. UTM COYI x
