In 2027, I’ll be taking on the incredible challenge of running the London Marathon to raise money for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.

As a parent of three amazing children, I know how lucky I am to watch them grow, thrive and enjoy their childhood. Sadly, many families don’t have that privilege and face the daily reality of caring for a seriously ill child.

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity provides specialist nurses and support for seriously ill children and their families, helping them navigate life beyond hospital appointments and medical treatments. Their Marvellous Children’s Nurses provide practical and emotional support, helping families cope with the challenges that come with complex, lifelong conditions. The difference they make is truly life-changing.

Running the London Marathon will be one of the toughest things I’ve ever done, but it pales in comparison to the challenges these children and their families face every single day. Every mile I run will be for them.
