If you’ve made it this far you probably already know I’ll be running the Southampton half marathon on the 6th of April for Sophie’s legacy, a great Charity that I have seen first hand how much of an impact they have on family’s with children in hospital.

Sophie was a 10 year old child who was determined to make a difference before she died. She wrote a bucket list of things she wanted changed in her memory. The list was to improve the experience for families admitted to hospital with their children as well as improving outcomes for children with cancer. Sophie's Legacy charity was set up following Sophies death. We support families in hospital by providing food, toiletries, clothes, transport, birthday parties, etc. We currently cover 12 hospitals supporting hundreds of families every single week. We also advocate at a national level with the government and NHS to improve play, food for children and parents being fed. We are also advocating for improvements for children diagnosed with cancer. Together we will make change.
