Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’m taking on a huge challenge: running from Basingstoke town centre to Trafalgar Square, London — a distance of around 96km (60 miles) in a single push, following canal towpaths and river trails all the way into the heart of London.
This run isn’t just about testing myself — it’s about raising money and awareness for Baton of Hope, the UK’s largest suicide prevention charity.
Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50 in the UK, and far too many families have been torn apart by it. I know from my own struggles with anxiety and health challenges how important it is to have support, hope, and someone to talk to. Mental health isn’t always visible, but it affects us all — and no one should ever feel alone in their battle.
By supporting Baton of Hope, we can:
✅ Break the stigma around suicide and mental health
✅ Provide vital education, awareness, and support
✅ Give people hope when they need it most
Every kilometre of this run will be dedicated to those we’ve lost, those still fighting, and the belief that tomorrow can be brighter.
💚 Please donate whatever you can — every contribution will make a difference, and together we can help Baton of Hope save lives.
Thank you for your support 🙏
