A team of five Burrowmoor staff and family are going to take on the Break Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge in 2024! We want to raise money to give our young people a holiday this summer so we are going to step up and take on 24 miles in 12 hours!

Story

I am taking on the Break Yorkshire 3 Peaks on Saturday 11 May 2024 to help change the lives of the young people we support at Burrowmoor Break children's home.

This is a huge challenge for me, as i take on months of training to be in 'peak' fitness to take on 24 miles in 12 hours across the highest three peaks of the Yorkshire Dales!

This demanding yet rewarding one-day trekking challenge takes us to the sum-mits of Pen-y-Ghent (694m/2,276 ft), Whernside (736m/2,415 ft) and Inglebor-ough (723m/2,372 ft), all in one circular route starting and ending in Horton-in-Ribblesdale. We’ll be supporting each other every step of the way on this demanding yet rewarding challenge.

Please follow me and help me as i train and sponsor me to get up those peaks and help make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Thank you!
