Brandon & Tyler are taking the leap for Mental Health UK 🪂
On the 13th of April, Brandon and Tyler are doing something terrifying, exciting, and meaningful all at once they’re jumping out of a plane to raise money for Mental Health UK.
Both of us work in construction Brandon is a bricklayer and Tyler is a labourer and mental health in the construction industry is huge. Often a hidden problem. Construction workers have a suicide rate 3.7 times higher than the national average. Around 2 in 3 tradespeople misuse drugs or alcohol just to cope with mental health symptoms, and over 90% of workers say they feel uncomfortable talking about their mental health with colleagues.
That’s a crisis and it’s one that doesn’t get talked about enough!
Mental health affects everyone, whether personally or through someone we love. The support that Mental Health UK provides is genuinely life-changing, giving people access to help, resources, and hope when they need it most.
Skydiving is a huge challenge for both of us, but it’s nothing compared to what so many people face every day in silence. We want to turn this fear into something positive and raise as much money and awareness as we can.
We will be documenting everything on our social media page @brandonthebricky on all platforms and are working on live-streaming the jump!
Every donation, no matter how small, helps make a real difference. Thank you so much for supporting us and this incredible cause. ❤️
