Playlink Sponsored Walk

We are raising money for our holiday play schemes and summer camps for children in South Glos. Starting at 10am on the 29th May, we are hoping for as many children and their families to come and take part in a sponsored walk, walking as little or as far as they can. All distances will be added to a total, we are aiming for 200 miles, 1 mile for every child we currently support.

Any funds raised will help towards purchasing of new equipment and day trips for disabled children aged 5 - 18 who attend our holiday play schemes. We want to be able to offer children the best opportunities available, and cannot do that without the correct equipment or funds to be able to give them those experiences.

Our summer camps cannot run without the required funding, we are aiming to take 20 young people away this summer for a fun filled, week-long camp where they have new experiences, such as abseiling and kayaking, as well as making new friends and be independent. Going away with friends is a right of passage and we want to be able to give them that opportunity.
