💛Our Story💛

In 2024, a group of us had our worlds turned upside down when Aberdeen NICU became our home from home.

Our babies were fragile. The machines were loud. The nights were long. The worry was indescribable.

But we were never alone. The nurses that sat with us or offered us some 'normality in chat', the doctors that took the time when we had questions (and there were many) but most of all we had each other - the other mums sitting beside incubators just like ours, who just *got it* without a single word needing to be said.

The unit saved our babies and now we want to give something back. 💛

We are Brave Beginnings Aberdeen — a group of NICU mums on a mission to raise money for Aberdeen Neonatal Unit. (£50K would be the dream but we are going to have smaller goals on route)

In Spring 2027 we will be hosting an evening celebration - with fizz, food, music, laughter and love.

This event is for every NICU family. Every journey. Every baby. Every outcome. 💛
