Brays School Swim the English Channel (distance) · 21 July 2023

DEBRA is the national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a painful genetic skin blistering condition which, in the worst cases, can be fatal. We fund pioneering research and provide care and support to individuals and families living with EB.

Story

Brays School are Swimming the English Channel distance of 21 miles collectively during July in Memory of a past pupil Calvin who sadly passed away earlier this year. Calvin suffered with this terrible skin condition & we thought it would be a fitting Memory to raise money for this Charity. The children will aim to swim half the distance with a staff team swimming the other 10.5 miles on 14th July at Fox Hollies Leisure centre.

DEBRA is the national charity supporting those directly affected by, and working with, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a potentially fatal skin condition that causes constant pain due to unstoppable internal and external blistering. DEBRA provides lifelong care and support to the entire EB community.

Together we #FightEB and together we will beat EB.
