Our son, Oran, sufferers with Erythropoietic Protoporphyria. It is a rare genetic blood disorder. It means his blood reacts to sunlight and some artificial florescent light. It causes him to feel severe pain, swelling of the affected area, and splitting of his skin, which then cuts. The BPA are our only support and link that keeps us up to date with what's new, and is helping to fight, to get a drug called Scenesse (which will give Oran, and other sufferers an outdoor life ) made available in the UK. All donations are greatly appreciated!
