Our 'breast' friend Sharon was diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2019. Action Cancer were a great source of support through counselling and holistic therapies. After surgery and treatment she received the all clear in June 2019. We want to raise as much money for Action Cancer so they can continue to provide their services for the people of Northern Ireland.

We are holding a Boogie Bingo night in the Four Winds on Saturday 23rd May to raise as much as we can for Action Cancer. We would love to see you there!

Our 5k walk will take place on Friday 5th June 2026.

Action Cancer is the only charity in the UK and Ireland offering free breast screening to ladies outside of the NHS age range 40 - 49 and 70+

This service is free to the user but each appointment costs Action Cancer £120.

By supporting this amazing event, you will help us to save more lives, lives like Bronagh's! Bronagh is 42, an Action Cancer Ambassador who lives just outside Downpatrick with her husband & 3 children. Bronagh had her breast cancer detected in 2024 at the age of 40 through a routine mammogram.
