Hi!

We are Vinny's Pet Shop, a pet store based in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. We have been serving the community since 1978!

This is our store cat Chloe, who's been a resident here for over 20 years now! She is loved by many and has plenty of visitors throughout the day. She likes to eat Churu’s, sleep around and will always accept your pets!

Unfortunately, one day we came into the store and the right side of her face had major swelling. We immediately took her to VERG and once there she was sedated, they ran some tests and checked her mouth. They had come to the conclusion that it can either be oral cancer or an abscess in her root.

Chloe was prescribed 3 medications; an antibiotic, Magic Mouthwash and Mirataz.

After a week of giving her these medications, her swelling went down tremendously— it was almost as if nothing ever happened. This forced us to believe that she did not in fact have oral cancer, but has an abscess instead.

Given that dental care is very expensive, we are asking for any help in getting this abscess removed.

We would love to see Chloe thriving, eating and greeting customers for more time. She’s made it this far!
