Story
Hi everyone!
I was diagnosed with T1D in 2015 and since then, it's been a constant balancing act of counting carbs, calculating insulin, finger pricks, CGMs, highs, lows, and the ever-present awareness that one small misstep can have serious consequences.
But I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I'm sharing it because I believe we can do something about it. That’s why I’m raising money for Breakthrough T1D, an incredible organisation funding the most promising research to cure, treat, and prevent Type 1 Diabetes.
This cause is deeply personal. I know what it's like to carry the weight of this condition, the exhaustion, the worry, the frustration and I want a future where no one has to.
I will be running Berlin Marathon on the 21st of September with plenty of sugar in my pockets.
Your donation will go directly toward life-changing research that brings us closer to freedom from T1D. Whether it’s €5 or €50, every bit helps move us closer to that breakthrough.
Please consider supporting me, and helping millions of people like me live longer, healthier, and ultimately, freer lives.
Thank you so much!
Paul
