Story
I am running the Clare Burren Marathon, on 23rd May, to raise funds for Roundabout. Clare, which is in Ireland, is a special place to me, as this is where my mum was born and grew up. I spent many happy summers there.
Roundabout is an important local South Yorkshire charity, that supports young people out of homelessness, often in very difficult circumstances. It is a charity that is very close to my heart. See below details provided by the charity to explain its goals.
Roundabout is committed to ending youth homelessness in South Yorkshire. We now work with over 380 young people aged 16 - 25 every single day who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
Your support will go towards our vital and life changing services. This includes emergency and long-term accommodation, counselling, employment, education and life-skills support, and community outreach.
Every young person deserves the chance to a bright future - with a safe place to live and tailored support, they can break the cycle of homelessness.
