Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Since Jan'14 I've found to have had this very, not known about condition. Upon getting diagnosed with it, I seemed to have lost my hearing in my left ear. It was during the diagnosis that my GP got a 'Full M.O.T.' done which found this condition. I'm from a family of 7 and it's been found that 3 of us have this condition with 1 other being a carrier.

I've since been finding out things about it daily, like not to eat sushi, take coffee, tea or red wine when eating food, don't increase on vitamins (particularly on Vitamin C) as this increases my excess iron (Ferritin) in my body then it would disperse it around my joints. Thus, it increases my risk of developing Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis, which is the main related condition it relates to. This is very close to carrying or developing Diabetes too.

If you are diagnosed with this condition just try and eat a normal variety of fruit and vegetables with your meals.
