So I've signed up for the Budapest Half Marathon on 27th June 2026, which is either a great idea or a terrible one - I haven't decided yet. It's my first half marathon, so I'm equal parts excited and slightly dreading it.

I'm raising money for the Titan Children's Trust, a charity based in the East Midlands that supports disadvantaged children and families. They do everything from organising day trips and activities to providing holidays and practical support for families who are having a really rough time. Basically, they help kids just be kids.

I'm not going to pretend running 13.1 miles is some heroic feat as people do it every weekend. But it's new territory for me and I figured if I'm going to put myself through the training, I might as well make it count for something beyond my own Strava stats.

Whatever you can spare would genuinely make a difference. And if you can't donate, a share goes a long way too.
