Story
This term’s non-uniform day will be in aid of the Parikrma Foundation. The Parikrma Humanity Foundation seeks to support children and young people (aged 5-25) who live in either one of the 99 slums or 4 orphanages in Bengaluru (Bangalore), India. The foundation ensure all of the beneficiaries of their fundraising receive free education, healthcare and three meals a day. In addition, further education is also funded, as well as counseling being provided. Our Head of Drama, Mrs Hermosa, volunteered with the organisation for 7 months in 2004, and strongly believes in the change they make for the children under their care.
As with last term, donations will be made via this JustGiving page (you can also access the page by scanning the QR code below). No cash will be collected due to our cashless bursary system. Please ensure you have a confirmation email of your donation which can be emailed to form tutors, or shown on the school ipad. The minimum donation is £2.
Please note, there is no need for you to put any information about your child on the donation page; you can donate anonymously. Please just ensure a confirmation email, or screenshot of this, is shown or sent to form tutors.
Please bear in mind the following important non-uniform guidelines:
No offensive slogans or icons
No hemlines above the knee (except with black opaque tights or leggings underneath)
No low-cut tops
No crop-tops
Students must remember their ID badge and Passport to Success
