Hospital La Cavale Blanche to Royal Papworth Hospital – 744 km Charity Motorcycle Ride.

In summer 2027, our team will motorcycle 744 km from Hospital La Cavale Blanche in Brittany, France to Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, UK.

We’re taking on this challenge to give thanks for the lifesaving care that 45 year old Owen Evans received at Royal Papworth in 2023 after experiencing severe, life‑threatening mitral valve complications.

Why we're fundraising

Royal Papworth played a crucial role in stabilising Owen and supporting his long recovery.

This ride is Owen and his family and friends’ way of showing gratitude and raising funds to support the hospital’s world-leading heart and lung care.

To help us build momentum for the epic France to UK ride, the team will take on a shorter UK ride on Bicycles in July 2026. We’ll keep you posted as our plans take shape!
