Story
Team Rowan
Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is a rare and complex genetic condition that causes an overwhelming and uncontrollable urge to eat, alongside learning and physical disabilities. It affects every single day of life for those living with it — and for the families who love them.
We're dedicating a whole year to raising money for PWSA UK.
The Manchester Marathon 2027 is the big finale, but between now and then there's a lot happening. A summer pub walk, the Yorkshire Three Peaks, quiz nights, workplace fundraising and much more — and we won't be doing any of it alone. Friends, colleagues and Rowan's own family are already getting involved.
PWSA UK is a small charity that receives no government funding. They provide a lifeline to families affected by PWS — a helpline, specialist support, community events and vital research funding. They exist purely because of people who care enough to raise money for them.
Rowan is wonderful. Full of life, loved beyond words, and the reason we're doing every single step of this.
If you can spare anything at all — please donate. Every single penny goes directly to PWSA UK. And if you'd like to get involved in any of the events, even better — just get in touch!
Let's make something brilliant happen. 💙
