They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but over the last couple of years I’ve done a half decent job of teaching myself to put one foot in front of the other… and I think that somewhere along the way I might have become a runner!

Although we have both done a little fundraising before this will be our first “proper” charity run, and we couldn’t think of a better charity to support by running the 10km stretch of the Great Bristol Run than Bristol A.R.C.

Bristol Animal Rescue Centre is Bristol's oldest local animal charity. They have been helping, healing, and homing the city's most vulnerable animals since 1887. They care for thousands of animals every year. From cats to chameleons, and dogs to hedgehogs, they are here for animals when they need them the most.
